2017 February Conference

The program is looking very exciting and, not surprisingly features numerous workshops that will focus on unpacking the nuances of the new Unit 3 & 4 courses. These workshops will also provide a variety of interesting teaching and learning ideas for the new content as well as some suggestions for reinvigorating familiar content. There will also be a number of new workshops specific to the Units 1 & 2 Study Design that take account of the learnings of the first year of this new course, as well as workshops on Year 10 Psychology, IB Psychology, exam preparation and the use of technology in Psychology classrooms amongst others.

One of the highlights of the annual conference, consistently reported by teachers is the opportunity to hear about VCE Psychology directly from VCAA personnel involved in overseeing  our study. The 2017 Conference is no exception.. Teachers will, once again have the opportunity to hear about the implications of the new Study Design for Units 3 & 4 from VCAA personnel. Importantly, there will be an opportunity to ask those burning questions during the ‘VCAA Update’.  VCAA personnel have also committed to being at the conference for its duration, so there will also be opportunities to chat with them informally throughout the day.
